v5 v6 18 18 In order to run simulations on a real reactor geometry we need to create the tools for defining 19 19 geometry. Similarly to other particle transport codes (Serpent, MCNP, OpenMC) in GUARDYAN geomety is defined by cells containing isotopes. Cells are defined by bounding surfaces. These data can be given in ''xml'' files. 20 20 21 ==== Surfaces 21 22 In the current version general 22 23 positioned sphere, plane and infinite cylinder are 23 supported in special cases according to Table 1. 24 [[Image(table1.png, 100%)]] 24 supported in special cases according to Table 1. More surface types are added in later releases. 25 25 26 [[Image(table1.png, 80%)]] 27 28 ==== Cells 29 Cells may be defined as an intersection or union of spaces divided by surfaces. Cells may be filled into either rectangular or hexagonal lattices. 26 30 27 31
